About the Role
We are looking for a friendly, professional, and customer-focused Receptionist to join our team at The Crown in the heart of Chertsey. With 49 comfortable bedrooms and welcoming spaces for celebrations and events, we pride ourselves on creating memorable experiences for every guest.
As the first point of contact, you will play a key role in delivering outstanding customer service, ensuring guests receive a warm welcome and an exceptional stay. You will work alongside a supportive team in a vibrant hospitality environment while receiving excellent training and opportunities for career development.

Key Responsibilities
- Welcome guests with a warm and professional approach
- Manage check-ins, check-outs, and reservations efficiently
- Answer telephone and email enquiries promptly
- Handle guest requests and resolve issues professionally
- Process payments and maintain accurate financial records
- Support administrative tasks and ensure reception runs smoothly
- Work closely with colleagues to deliver excellent customer service
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role, preferably within hospitality
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A positive, friendly, and professional attitude
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Confidence using computer systems and handling administrative tasks
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- A proactive approach to delivering outstanding guest experiences and supporting business growth
