We’re looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Café Assistant to join our growing team. If you enjoy working with people, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and have a passion for great customer service, we’d love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome customers with a friendly and professional attitude.
- Prepare and serve hot and cold drinks, including barista-style coffee.
- Prepare and serve food to a high standard.
- Keep tables, seating areas, and the café clean and tidy.
- Set up and prepare party rooms and event spaces.
- Operate the till and handle customer transactions.
- Follow food hygiene and health & safety procedures.
- Work efficiently as part of a team to provide an excellent customer experience.
What We’re Looking For
Essential requirements:
- At least 1 year of barista experience.
- At least 1 year of hospitality experience.
- Availability to work weekends.
- Flexibility to work weekdays and evenings on a pre-planned rota.
- A positive attitude, strong communication skills, and the ability to work well under pressure.
