Working Hours
- Monday to Friday: 7:00am–4:30pm
- Every other Saturday: 7:00am–1:00pm
- 45 hours per week
- Quarterly bonus of up to £500 after successful completion of probation
About the Role
Tazaki Foods is looking for a reliable and professional Van Driver to join our transport team in Altrincham.
You will be responsible for delivering goods safely, on time, and in excellent condition while providing a friendly and courteous service to customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Load, secure, transport, and unload goods safely.
- Complete daily vehicle safety and roadworthiness checks.
- Deliver orders according to customer and company instructions.
- Handle delivery paperwork and obtain signed Proof of Delivery.
- Report accidents, delays, vehicle problems, and customer issues promptly.
- Keep the company vehicle clean, tidy, and roadworthy.
- Follow all road safety, driving-hours, and working-time regulations.
- Ensure goods are handled carefully to prevent damage or breakage.
- Follow company food safety, hygiene, and storage procedures.
- Complete required delivery, returns, and driver records.
- Assist the warehouse team when required.
- Maintain a professional, polite, and helpful attitude with customers.
Requirements
- Full manual UK driving licence required.
- Good driving and road-safety awareness.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Good customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to safely handle and secure heavy or large goods.
- Willingness to follow company procedures and safety regulations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
