About the Role
St Margarets CE Primary School is looking for reliable and hardworking Part-Time Cleaners to help maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic environment for pupils, staff, and visitors.
There are two positions available, with the following working patterns:
- Morning: 6:00am – 8:00am, Monday to Friday
- Afternoon: 3:30pm – 5:30pm, Monday to Friday
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitise classrooms, offices, toilets, and communal areas.
- Dust, vacuum, mop, and empty waste bins.
- Use cleaning equipment and products safely and effectively.
- Store cleaning materials securely.
- Report maintenance issues and safety hazards to the Site Manager.
- Follow all health and safety procedures.
- Maintain consistently high standards of cleanliness.
About You
The ideal candidate will be:
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
- Detail-oriented with high standards of cleanliness.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Comfortable using basic cleaning equipment.
- Familiar with health and safety procedures.
- Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential.
- Able to demonstrate basic literacy and numeracy skills.

This role involves working in a primary school and is subject to appropriate safeguarding checks, enhanced DBS clearance, and medical clearance.
