About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Porter to join a busy hospitality team. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to start or grow a career within the catering and hospitality industry.
As a Kitchen Porter, you will play an important role in keeping the kitchen clean, organised, and running efficiently while supporting chefs and kitchen staff during service.
Full training is provided, so previous experience is helpful but not essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Washing and sanitising dishes, kitchen utensils, pots, and pans
- Supporting chefs with basic food preparation tasks
- Keeping kitchen surfaces, floors, and work areas clean and safe
- Restocking kitchen supplies and organising storage areas
- Cleaning kitchen appliances and equipment regularly
- Assisting with waste disposal and recycling procedures
- Helping maintain high hygiene and food safety standards
- Supporting general cleaning duties across the premises when required
