Role Overview:
As a Bakery Operative, you will support the safe and efficient running of bakery machinery while helping deliver high-quality products that meet production targets and customer standards. You’ll work as part of a team focused on safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate bakery plant and equipment safely and efficiently
- Follow health, safety, and food hygiene standards at all times
- Support delivery of daily production plans
- Maintain product quality and consistency
- Record basic production data and information
- Participate in training and development activities
- Share best practices within the team
- Support other areas of production when required
What We’re Looking For:
- Awareness of health & food safety standards
- Basic numerical and reading skills
- Ability to follow instructions and record information accurately
- Team player with a flexible and positive attitude
- Interest in food production or baking (advantageous)
- Basic food hygiene certificate (desirable)
- Computer literacy (basic system/HMI understanding is a plus)
