We are currently looking for a motivated and reliable Public Area Cleaner to join the team at DoubleTree by Hilton Coventry. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced hospitality environment and takes pride in maintaining high cleanliness standards.
About the Role
As a Public Area Cleaner, you will help ensure all hotel public spaces are clean, safe, and welcoming for guests. You will play an important role in maintaining the hotel’s excellent presentation and guest experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain hotel public areas including lobbies, corridors, stairways, guest fitness areas, and laundry rooms
- Carry out regular deep cleaning duties
- Vacuum corridors and communal spaces
- Replenish towelss and guest amenities when required
- Follow company cleaning standards and health & safety procedures
- Ensure all public areas remain tidy and presentable throughout shifts
Requirements
- Previous cleaning experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail
- Good organisational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and under pressure
- Flexible to work mornings, evenings, and weekends when required
