Working Hours: Saturday and Sunday, 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM

About the Role
A2Dominion is seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to join our catering team at Chestnut Court. This hands-on role involves supporting the preparation and service of meals while maintaining high standards of cleanliness, food safety, and customer care for our residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation, service, and kitchen cleaning duties.
- Maintain food hygiene, health, and safety standards at all times.
- Prepare service areas for meal times.
- Clean dining areas, kitchen facilities, storerooms, and external storage areas.
- Receive and check deliveries, ensuring quality standards are met and stock is stored correctly.
- Support the Chef and Chef Manager with daily kitchen operations.
- Assist with stock rotation, inventory management, and removal of expired products.
- Monitor stock levels and report low supplies when necessary.
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Can follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
- Is comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Has a caring, respectful, and professional approach when interacting with elderly and vulnerable residents and their families.
- Has previous kitchen experience (preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided).
- Is confident using basic computer systems and completing online training.
