Join Our School Support Team
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented School Cleaner to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. This part-time role offers flexible working hours and is ideal for individuals who take pride in delivering high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
As a key member of the facilities team, you will contribute to the smooth day-to-day operation of the school by ensuring all areas are clean, well-maintained, and compliant with health and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitise classrooms, corridors, washrooms, and communal areas
- Sweep, mop, dust, and vacuum designated areas
- Empty bins and dispose of waste safely and responsibly
- Clean furniture, fixtures, and school equipment
- Replenish consumables including soap, toilet paper, and paper towels
- Follow cleaning schedules and procedures to maintain high standards
- Report maintenance issues, hazards, or repair requirements promptly
- Ensure all cleaning duties are carried out in accordance with health and safety guidelines

Essential Qualities
- Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy

Preferred Experience
- Previous experience in cleaning, janitorial, or facilities roles is desirable but not essential
- Knowledge of cleaning products and safe handling procedures is an advantage
- Training will be provided for the successful candidate
Requirements
- Valid DBS certificate (required)
- Ability to work on-site in London N6
- Flexibility to undertake occasional additional duties when required
