We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support pupils, teachers, and parents in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment. This role plays a key part in helping children achieve strong academic progress and reach their full potential, regardless of background or ability.
Key Responsibilities
Learning Support
- Support pupils with learning activities and structured programmes
- Encourage independence, confidence, and positive engagement
- Work with teachers and SENCO to support SEND and EAL pupils
- Assist in developing Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
- Provide 1:1 and small group interventions
- Support behaviour management strategies in collaboration with teachers
- Help deliver classroom teaching and learning materials
- Observe, record, and report pupil progress
Wider School Support
- Supervise pupils during break, lunch, and school activities
- Support school trips and extracurricular activities
- Assist with pastoral care and pupil wellbeing
- Contribute to a safe and supportive school environment
