About the Role
Well Pharmacy is looking for a reliable and customer-focused Delivery Driver to join its team in Poynton. This role involves delivering prescriptions and healthcare products safely and efficiently to patients within the local community, ensuring excellent customer service at every step.
As a Community Delivery Driver, you will play an important role in supporting patients, including those who are unable to visit the pharmacy, by providing a dependable home delivery service.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver prescriptions and healthcare products to customers safely and on time.
- Collect prescriptions from local GP surgeries when required.
- Complete daily vehicle safety checks and maintain accurate delivery records.
- Carry out required paperwork and update pharmacy systems.
- Follow all legal, safety, and company procedures.
- Build positive relationships with customers and pharmacy colleagues.
Requirements
- Full UK Driving Licence (essential).
- Right to work in the UK.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Good local area knowledge and a reliable, organised approach.
- Flexibility to work varying delivery times.
- Successful completion of an enhanced DBS check before employment.
