About the Role
The Vernon Hanbury is looking for enthusiastic and customer-focused Bar Staff to join its friendly hospitality team. This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about delivering outstanding customer service.
Key Responsibilities
As a Bar Staff member, you will:
- Welcome customers with a friendly and professional attitude.
- Take food and drink orders accurately.
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
- Deliver excellent customer service and ensure a positive guest experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar and service areas.
- Follow food hygiene, health, and safety regulations.
- Promote menu items and daily specials to enhance sales.
- Handle cash and card payments accurately.
- Monitor responsible alcohol service in line with licensing regulations.
- Work closely with the kitchen team to coordinate food orders.

- The ability to work efficiently in a busy environment.
- Basic numeracy skills for handling payments.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.

- Previous experience in a bar, restaurant, or hospitality environment.
- Knowledge of alcoholic beverages and drink preparation.
