About the Role
A family in Muswell Hill is looking for a caring, experienced, and reliable full-time nanny to care for their 2-year-old son. The ideal candidate will provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment while supporting the child’s development through play-based learning and engaging daily activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide full-time care for a 2-year-old child.
- Assist with diaper changing, dressing, and potty training.
- Prepare healthy meals and snacks.
- Keep the child’s play area clean and organised.
- Plan fun, educational, and age-appropriate activities.
- Read books, sing songs, and encourage language development.
- Take the child to parks, playgroups, and other suitable outings.
- Support physical, cognitive, social, emotional, and fine motor skill development.
- Ensure the child’s safety, wellbeing, and daily routine at all times.
Requirements
- At least 3 years’ experience caring for toddlers.
- NVQ Level 2 in Childcare preferred.
- Valid Infant/Child First Aid and CPR certification.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to provide regular updates to parents.
- Reliable, punctual, and enthusiastic with a genuine passion for childcare.
- Excellent references from previous families.
- A DBS check completed within the last year or registered with the DBS Update Service.
