About the Role
LEGOLAND Windsor Resort is looking for enthusiastic and reliable Kitchen Assistants to join the Hotel Kitchen Team.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with food and wants to gain experience in a fun and exciting theme park environment.
You’ll work alongside experienced chefs and help prepare and serve a variety of food, from family-style buffets to fine-dining dishes, while maintaining excellent standards of food quality, cleanliness and presentation.
Previous kitchen experience is welcome, but full training will be provided to suitable candidates who have a passion for food.
Shift Options
We have a range of flexible opportunities available:
- Full-time: 5 days out of 7 on a shift basis.
- Part-time: Flexible hours.
- Morning-only shifts.
- Evening-only shifts.
Some weekend availability is essential due to the nature of the business.
Key Responsibilities
As a Kitchen Assistant, you will:
- Prepare and serve a variety of food according to recipes and guidelines.
- Keep kitchen areas clean, organised and safe.
- Complete food and kitchen preparation before each shift.
- Maintain stock levels and assist with deliveries.
- Work closely with the kitchen team during busy periods.
- Wash and clean crockery, utensils and kitchen equipment.
- Follow all food hygiene, health and safety procedures.
- Help maintain high standards of food presentation and cleanliness.
What We’re Looking For
We’d love to hear from candidates who have previous kitchen or hospitality experience. However, experience isn’t essential if you have the right attitude and enthusiasm for food.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A positive and friendly attitude.
- Good communication skills.
- The ability to work effectively in a busy environment.
- Strong attention to detail.
- The ability to multitask and prioritise.
- Flexibility to work weekends and public holidays.
