About the Role
Join the team at Greene King and become an important part of a welcoming local pub environment. As a Kitchen Assistant, you’ll support the kitchen team in delivering great food and ensuring every service runs smoothly.
You’ll help keep the kitchen clean, organised and fully stocked while making sure the chefs and wider team have everything they need to provide excellent service to customers.
Key Responsibilities
As a Kitchen Assistant, you will:
- Support the smooth running of kitchen service.
- Keep the kitchen clean, tidy and well stocked.
- Assist the kitchen team with day-to-day preparation and service.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene and food safety.
- Follow all relevant health, safety and allergen-control procedures.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and ensure the team has the equipment and supplies they need.
- Contribute to a positive and efficient kitchen environment.

Previous kitchen experience is helpful, but a willingness to learn and support the team is equally important.
