About the Role
Screwfix is looking for enthusiastic and customer-focused Retail Assistants to join its Wednesbury store. As a key member of the team, you will help deliver excellent customer service, maintain store standards, and support the day-to-day operation of the business. Whether assisting customers in finding the right products or managing stock in the warehouse, you’ll play an important role in creating a positive shopping experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome customers and provide friendly, knowledgeable assistance.
- Understand customer needs and recommend suitable products.
- Receive deliveries, replenish stock, and maintain an organized warehouse.
- Pick and prepare customer orders efficiently.
- Keep the store clean, safe, and well-presented.
- Work closely with colleagues to ensure smooth daily operations.
What We’re Looking For

- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- A willingness to learn and complete training.
- Flexibility to work weekends and varied shifts.
- Retail experience is beneficial but not essential, as full training is provided.
