As a Bakery Assistant, you will support the daily operations of the bakery by preparing products, maintaining high food safety standards, and helping deliver excellent customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing a variety of baked goods, including breads, pastries, cakes, and other bakery products.
- Follow recipes and production guidelines to ensure consistent quality.
- Measure, mix, and prepare ingredients under the guidance of the Head Baker.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic work area in accordance with food safety regulations.
- Safely operate bakery equipment and kitchen tools.
- Monitor stock levels and help replenish baking ingredients and supplies.
- Work collaboratively with the bakery team to meet daily production targets.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a bakery, kitchen, or food preparation environment is desirable but not essential.
- Basic understanding of food hygiene and food safety practices.
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and passion for baking.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
