About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Laundry Assistant to join our team. You’ll play an important role in keeping laundry operations running smoothly and ensuring that linen and garments are cleaned, organised and presented to a high standard.
This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build experience in the hospitality industry. Previous laundry or hospitality experience is beneficial but not essential.
Key Responsibilities
As a Laundry Assistant, you will:
- Collect, sort and process laundry according to established procedures.
- Operate washing machines, dryers and folding equipment safely and efficiently.
- Ensure linen and garments are cleaned to high standards of hygiene and quality.
- Fold and organise clean laundry for distribution to different departments or guest areas.
- Keep the laundry room clean, tidy and well organised.
- Monitor stock levels of detergents and other laundry supplies.
- Follow all relevant health and safety procedures.
- Report equipment problems or maintenance requirements to management promptly.
- Support the wider team to maintain excellent cleanliness and service standards.
