A welcoming family in Muswell Hill is seeking a caring, experienced, and enthusiastic full-time nanny to care for their 2-year-old son.
The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for working with toddlers and will create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment that supports the child’s development through play, learning, and everyday activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide attentive and loving care for the toddler throughout the day.
- Assist with dressing, diapering, and potty training.
- Prepare healthy snacks and meals as required.
- Organise and maintain a clean, safe play environment.
- Plan age-appropriate games, activities, and creative play.
- Read books, sing songs, and encourage language development.
- Take the child to parks, playgroups, and other suitable outings.
- Encourage gross and fine motor skills through active play, puzzles, building blocks, drawing, and crafts.
- Support cognitive, social, and emotional development.
- Ensure the child’s safety and wellbeing at all times.
- Provide parents with regular updates on the child’s activities and progress.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience working with toddlers is preferred.
- NVQ Level 2 in Childcare is desirable.
- Current infant/child First Aid and CPR certification.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and responsible.
- Energetic, positive, and genuinely passionate about childcare.
- Excellent references from previous families.
- DBS check completed within the last year or registration on the DBS Update Service.
