We are looking for a Kitchen Porter to join our team. As a Kitchen Porter, you’ll play an essential role in keeping the kitchen clean, organised, and running smoothly while supporting our chefs and wider team during busy services.
Your Responsibilities
- Wash dishes, pots, pans, cutlery, and kitchen equipment.
- Keep kitchen workstations, floors, walls, and storage areas clean.
- Empty bins and dispose of waste safely and correctly.
- Assist with basic food preparation, including peeling and preparing ingredients.
- Receive, check, and store food and kitchen deliveries.
- Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and responsibly.
- Follow all food hygiene, health and safety, and sanitation standards.
- Restock kitchen supplies and make sure utensils and equipment are readily available.
- Support chefs and kitchen staff during busy periods.
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and efficient working environment.
