About the Role
Kingsley Healthcare is looking for a Kitchen Assistant to support the catering team at Four Oaks Care Home. You will help maintain high standards of food hygiene, cleanliness, and kitchen safety while assisting with food preparation and daily kitchen duties.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation and kitchen tasks
- Wash crockery, utensils, and kitchen equipment
- Maintain cleanliness throughout the kitchen
- Follow food hygiene, health and safety regulations
- Monitor and complete cleaning schedules
- Support the chef and care home management team as required
Requirements
- Previous kitchen or catering experience is desirable but not essential
- Understanding of food hygiene and safety practices
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment
