We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to support daily food preparation and service operations. The role involves assisting kitchen and service teams to ensure high standards of hygiene, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with basic food preparation, including washing, chopping, and assembling ingredients
- Support chefs and kitchen staff during meal preparation and service
- Serve food and beverages to customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, dining, and food storage areas
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and health & safety regulations at all times
- Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment as required
- Help with stock control, including receiving and storing deliveries
- Ensure all tasks are completed efficiently during busy service periods
Requirements
- Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Flexible and willing to work shifts, including weekends if required
- Basic understanding of food hygiene standards (training may be provided)
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
