Overview
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Van Driver to join our team. The role involves the safe and efficient delivery of goods to multiple locations while ensuring excellent service and maintaining professional standards. Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a van and other delivery vehicles in compliance with UK road safety laws
- Deliver goods to various locations in a timely and efficient manner
- Load and unload items, including heavy goods, while ensuring safe handling practices
- Keep accurate delivery records and documentation
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members regarding deliveries or delays
- Carry out routine vehicle checks and maintain cleanliness of the van
- Assist with warehouse duties such as sorting, organising, and inventory support when required
- Follow all health and safety procedures at all times
Requirements & Skills
- Previous experience in delivery driving or commercial driving preferred
- Valid UK driving licence suitable for van or commercial vehicles
- Good understanding of UK road laws and safety standards
- Ability to perform manual handling and lift heavy items safely
- Strong time management and organisational skills
- Good communication and customer service abilities
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently
