Role Overview
This role involves supporting daily warehouse operations, ensuring stock is handled safely, accurately, and efficiently. You will be part of a fast-paced environment where teamwork and attention to detail are important.
Key Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and move stock safely
- Pick, pack, label, and prepare orders for dispatch
- Support shipping and receiving tasks
- Maintain accurate inventory using warehouse systems
- Operate forklifts and other equipment (training provided if needed)
- Carry out quality checks on goods
- Keep warehouse areas clean and organised
- Assist with basic equipment maintenance when required
Requirements
- Previous warehouse experience is helpful but not essential
- Ability to handle physical work and lift heavy items (up to 25kg+)
- Willingness to learn forklift operation (certification may be provided)
- Basic understanding of stock control systems is an advantage
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Good attention to detail and organisation
- Flexibility to work in a busy, changing environment
