About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and friendly Community Delivery Driver to join a leading UK pharmacy service. In this role, you will be responsible for safely delivering prescriptions and healthcare products to patients who are unable to visit the pharmacy in person.
This is an important role that directly supports local communities and ensures patients receive their medication on time and with care.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver prescriptions and medicines to patients in a timely and professional manner
- Collect prescriptions from doctors’ surgeries when required
- Complete all required paperwork and legal documentation accurately
- Carry out daily vehicle checks and ensure road safety compliance
- Update pharmacy systems with delivery information and key data
- Provide excellent customer service when interacting with patients and pharmacy teams
What We’re Looking For
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Reliable, organised, and responsible attitude
- Ability to manage time and work independently
- Flexibility with working hours and delivery routes
- Commitment to safeguarding and patient confidentiality
- Willingness to complete an enhanced DBS check
