About the Role
A warm and welcoming family in Muswell Hill, London, is looking for a caring, experienced, and reliable Full-Time Nanny to care for their 2-year-old son.
The successful candidate will provide a safe, loving, and stimulating environment while supporting the child’s development through play-based learning and age-appropriate activities.
Key Responsibilities
Childcare
- Provide full-time care for a 2-year-old child
- Assist with dressing, diaper changing, and potty training
- Prepare healthy meals and snacks
- Keep play areas clean, organised, and safe
- Plan fun and educational activities suitable for the child’s age
- Read books, sing songs, and encourage interactive play
- Take the child on outings to parks, playgroups, and other child-friendly activities
- Ensure the child’s safety, wellbeing, and daily routine at all times
Supporting Child Development
- Encourage physical development through active indoor and outdoor play
- Promote fine motor skills with puzzles, drawing, building blocks, and crafts
- Support language development through conversation, reading, and storytelling
- Encourage creativity, curiosity, and problem-solving through educational games
- Help develop social and emotional skills in a nurturing environment
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years’ experience caring for toddlers
- NVQ Level 2 in Childcare (preferred)
- Valid Infant/Child First Aid and CPR certification
- Enhanced DBS check (issued within the last year or registered with the Update Service)
- Excellent communication skills
- Reliable, punctual, and responsible
- Positive, energetic, and passionate about working with young children
- Excellent references from previous families
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday
- 8:45 AM – 5:45 PM
- 45 hours per week
