About the Role
As a Housekeeping Assistant, you’ll play an important role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout our nursery. Your work will help ensure a safe and comfortable environment for children, families, and staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain all nursery areas to a high standard
- Ensure excellent hygiene throughout the premises
- Safely use and maintain cleaning equipment and supplies
- Assist with laundry and general housekeeping duties
- Follow all health and safety procedures
- Report maintenance or safety concerns promptly
- Work closely with colleagues to provide a clean and welcoming environment
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or housekeeping is desirable
- Excellent attention to detail
- Reliable, hardworking, and well organised
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Good understanding of health and safety practices
- Experience in a nursery or childcare setting is an advantage but not essential
- Confidence in handling cleaning products safely
