The Role
We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and enthusiastic Café Assistant to join our growing team. You’ll play an important role in delivering excellent customer service while helping to maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming café environment.
This is a part-time position offering 10–20 hours per week, with shifts scheduled on a rota that includes weekdays, evenings, and weekends.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and serve customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Prepare and serve hot and cold drinks, including barista-style coffee.
- Prepare and serve food to a high standard.
- Keep tables, service areas, and the café clean and tidy.
- Set up and prepare party rooms when required.
- Process customer orders and payments accurately.
- Follow food hygiene and health & safety procedures.
- Work collaboratively with the team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of barista experience (required).
- At least 1 year of hospitality experience (required).
- Ability to work weekends, weekdays, and evening shifts.
- Friendly, positive attitude with excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be located in or able to commute to Worcester.
