About the Role
Spire Cheshire Hospital is looking for a reliable and motivated Bank Housekeeper to join its Housekeeping team. This flexible role provides cover for staff sickness and annual leave, offering shifts on an as-needed basis.
As a Housekeeper, you will help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff while ensuring the hospital meets the highest standards of cleanliness.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete daily cleaning schedules across hospital departments.
- Prepare and clean patient rooms, offices, and public areas to a high standard.
- Ensure rooms are set up correctly and ready for use.
- Work closely with clinical teams to meet the changing needs of the hospital.
- Follow all Health and Safety regulations, including COSHH guidelines.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and professional healthcare environment at all times.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience, ideally in a customer-facing environment.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A methodical approach with excellent attention to detail.
- Professional appearance and commitment to high standards.
- Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, and weekends as required.
- No formal qualifications are required.
