About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and customer-focused Delivery Driver to join our team in Cannock.
You will be responsible for delivering food and other goods to customers safely and efficiently while providing a friendly and professional service. If you enjoy driving, working independently and interacting with customers, this could be a great opportunity.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a delivery vehicle while following traffic laws and company procedures.
- Deliver food and goods to customers accurately and on time.
- Load and unload deliveries, including heavy lifting when required.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and report any issues or discrepancies.
- Carry out routine vehicle checks before and during work.
- Report vehicle maintenance or safety concerns promptly.
- Provide excellent customer service and respond professionally to customer questions or concerns.
- Work closely with colleagues to ensure smooth and efficient deliveries.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
- A valid driving licence.
- Previous delivery-driving experience is preferred.
- At least 1 year of driving experience preferred.
- Commercial driving experience is an advantage.
- Good driving skills and a responsible approach to road safety.
- Strong communication and customer-service skills.
- A positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team.
- Ability to carry out manual handling and lift goods when required.
English language skills are not required.
