About the Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Kitchen Porter/Kitchen Assistant to join our café team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced hospitality environment and wants to develop a career in the kitchen.
No previous experience is required—full training will be provided. You will play a key role in keeping the kitchen clean, organised, and running efficiently while supporting chefs during busy service periods.
Key Responsibilities
- Wash and sanitise dishes, crockery, cutlery, and kitchen equipment.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic kitchen environment.
- Support the kitchen team by ensuring equipment is always clean and ready to use.
- Assist with basic food preparation as part of your training and development.
- Follow food safety and health & safety procedures.
- Work closely with colleagues to deliver excellent service.
