About the Role
As a Laundry Assistant, you will play an important role in ensuring all linen, towels, and laundry items are cleaned, organised, and maintained to a high standard to support daily operations and guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, sort, wash, and dry laundry items following company procedures
- Operate laundry machines and equipment safely and efficiently
- Fold, organise, and store clean linen and towels in designated areas
- Report damaged or stained items when necessary
- Maintain cleanliness within the laundry area and workspaces
- Complete laundry duties within required timeframes
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times
Requirements
- Previous hotel or hospitality experience preferred but not essential
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Good physical fitness for handling laundry items
- Reliable, positive, and hardworking attitude
- Knowledge of laundry health & safety procedures is an advantage
